More specifically, the Support Fund finances projects focusing on the prevention of autistic disorders by awarding grants to research programmes aimed at identifying the causes of autism and at facilitating the diagnosis and early guidance of children with autistic disorders.

The Marguerite-Marie Delacroix Support Fund was set up in 1988 as a non-profit organisation distinct from the Fondation Marguerite-Marie Delacroix, founded in 1950 by Mr and Mrs Jules Delacroix in memory of their daughter who died of scarlet fever at the age of 13.

 is a functional rehabilitation centre that provides day care for children under the age of seven with autism or pervasive developmental disorders.

 The Support Fund is assisting them with a significant project to develop and modify their infrastructure to align with current needs.
